This session will provide participants with information on trends in fire effects on watersheds, streams, and springs; offer tools to respond to these impacts before and after fires; and foster a discussion on next steps for restoration practitioners. The main focus will be on how land managers and restoration practitioners can foster resilience, restore ecological function, and ease transition for ecosystems and species in the face of changing fire regimes. The session will include a series of presentations in which we will ask each presenter to provide one suggestion for tackling this problem at the scale they address. You must register for the SER Conference to attend this one day workshop. For more information, download this flyer. To register, visit their website.
