This webinar describes the results of a study that sought to identify barriers and opportunities to the use of scientific information about resilience for decision-making and on-the-ground management. Data for this study was collected from interviews that were conducted with scientists, managers, and other stakeholders following “Fostering resilience in Southwestern ecosystems: A problem solving workshop”, which was held in Tucson, Arizona, in February 2014. Results are organized according to four major themes: application of scientific information, development of scientific information, communication of scientific information, and scientific information needs. Recommendations for effectively connecting resilience science with decision-making are also provided. To register for this webinar, click here NOW!
