This webinar will cover the basic steps of public information when interacting with communities, general public and media.
Cathie has been a public Information Officer with a Type 1, Southwest Incident Management Team, off and on for about 17 years and has close to 50 fire assignments during the course of her career with the US Forest Service in Public Affairs. She retired from the Forest Service last October and committed to one more year to the SW IMT, Team 2, as a PIO. She is seriously considering not returning to the Team in 2017.
