The Northwest Climate Conference provides a unique opportunity to learn from and connect with a diverse community of experts fostering a more climate resilient Northwest. The event brings together practitioners, scientists, tribal communities, and decision-makers to share knowledge, ideas, and best practices related to climate change science, impacts, and adaptation in the Pacific Northwest.
Washington Forest Collaborative Summit
The Washington Forest Collaboratives Summit will be held, November 6-7, 2019 in Wenatchee, WA
POSTPONED - Pacific Northwest Forest Collaborative Workshop
Due to increasing travel restrictions set by our agency partners, and direction from both Governor Brown (OR) and Governor Inslee (WA), we have decided to postpone this workshop until the fall. We prioritize the health and safety of our attendees, and hope that by then there will be greater clarity around COVID-19.
2019 Fall Cascadia Prescribed Fire Training Exchange (TREX)
Cascadia TREX will be based out of Cle Elum, WA from September 29th to October 11th, with burning conducted throughout Central Cascade Mountains in Washington. The two-week program facilitates peer-to-peer learning for those interested in advancing their understanding of prescribed fire.
Applications are due by Monday, August 12th.
Eastern WA Collaborative Learning Exchange
The Eastern Washington Collaborative Exchange will be held Tuesday, November 5th in Wenatchee, WA
Forest Health in Oregon: State of the State 2020 Conference
The biennial Forest Health in Oregon conference and scientific update is a great opportunity to hear from researchers and members of the forestry community about the current condition of Oregon’s forests, forest health trends, challenges, current research, and silvicultural solutions.
